The new Amalfi Coast 2.0 – UNESCO World Heritage App is officially online, developed by Nova Opera, the technological heart of the cultural and tourist enhancement project of the Amalfi Coast. An innovative application designed to offer an interactive, sustainable, and immersive visiting experience, thanks to the integration of augmented reality and a complete and intuitive information structure.

Through the app, visitors can explore the 13 municipalities of the Coast via interactive maps, geo-located events, real-time news, and an advanced search system for cultural, naturalistic, and food and wine points of interest. All content is browsable by category and by municipality, making it easier to discover both iconic and lesser-known places.

One of the app’s standout features is the “AR – Augmented Reality” section, which allows users to view virtual pins for nearby events, landmarks, and places of interest directly from their smartphone. Each pin is interactive and gives access to multimedia content, photo galleries, directions, and much more, with the option to adjust the exploration radius.

The user experience is enhanced by a custom dashboard on the home screen, highlighting news, upcoming events, and featured attractions. The menu offers quick access to all the main sections of the app, including contacts, social media, and informational documents.
