As of today, the official portal of “Amalfi Coast 2.0 – UNESCO World Heritage” is available online. Designed and developed by Elevan to support and enhance the tourism and cultural offering of the Amalfi Coast, the platformfollowing mobile-first principles as a dynamic, multilingual, and interactive digital hub.
The homepage immediately introduces all the main sections:
-
Interactive geolocated map: it displays in real time the points of interest (POIs) across the 13 municipalities of the Coast. By clicking on any pin, users access a detailed profile page containing a description of the site, photo gallery, directions, and useful contacts.
-
Mini-homepage for each municipality: each dedicated page collects institutional information, contact details, images and presentation videos, as well as the specific POIs for that territory. These “mini-homes” also feature local events and news.
-
Events calendar: the “Events” section provides a complete schedule of cultural, musical, and folkloric appointments happening in the various municipalities. Every event entry includes date, time, a featured image, and a location map, along with all relevant participation details.
-
“News” section: a constant stream of articles, press releases, and in-depth features that cover initiatives, projects, and curiosities related to the Amalfi Coast. Content is categorized by topic and municipality to facilitate browsing and ensure information is always up to date.
On the accessibility front, the site integrates a widget that allows users to adjust contrast, enlarge fonts, and activate text-to-speech functionality, making navigation accessible to those with specific needs.
Thanks to its responsive design, the portal automatically adapts to smartphones, tablets, and desktops, ensuring a smooth browsing experience on any device. The bilingual version (Italian and English) is intended to welcome both domestic and international audiences, offering clear and detailed content to help plan their visit.
