Church of St. Elijah the Prophet
The Church of San Giacomo is not the only place of worship that tells the story of Furore. Not far away, the Church of Sant'Elia preserves an intimate atmosphere and a precious wooden triptych dating back to 1479. The work depicts the Madonna and Child enthroned, flanked by Saints Elijah the Prophet and Bartholomew. Painted by Angelo Antonello da Capua, the panel’s vibrant colors and delicate forms reflect the refinement of the Neapolitan Renaissance school.
