Cetara
Cetara is a hidden jewel of the Amalfi Coast, where nature and age-old traditions come together in perfect harmony. Nestled at the foot of Mount Falerio, this small community tells its story as an ancient fishing village. The name itself, “Cetaria”, takes us back to a time when the “tonnare” were the center of daily life, a deep connection with the sea and its resources.
The old village winds its way through narrow, picturesque streets where the smell of saltiness mixes with that of the kitchens of yesteryear. Not far away, the small port welcomes fishing boats and fishermen's goiters, witnesses of a life marked by the rhythm of the sea.
