    Conca dei Marini

Conca dei Marini is a picturesque fishing village nestled in a natural rocky gorge with breathtaking views of Amalfi and Capri. Conca dei Marini gently unfolds in a small bay dominated by an ancient Saracen tower, solemn guardian of a history of grandeur and tradition. It is a corner of peace and serenity, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, and home to beaches considered among the most beautiful in the world. Its houses, white as rare pearls, overlook emerald waters and paint a picture of sublime tranquility.

The winding “little staircases” between the different levels of the village, like ancient stone paths, lead the traveller through alleys immersed in the green of aromatic plants. Here the sea breeze caresses the fragrant herbs, diffusing scents that envelop the senses, creating an atmosphere suspended between dream and reality.

In this evocative setting, on the invisible waves of time, the legend of the Janare, enchanting and mysterious figures, dances gracefully and sensually. It is said that these women, dressed in long white shirts, used to gather under the olive trees, waiting for the fishermen to return from their nightly wanderings, in order to seduce them with their bewitching charm.

In the 1960s, Conca dei Marini became the favorite retreat of illustrious personalities who, far from the noise of the world, found serenity reflected in the timeless beauty of this enchanted corner.
